Comprehensive Plans and Area Plans

Livable Plans and Codes has led and supported the development of long-range growth policy for a number of communities. Some are for entire communities such as Southlake, Aubrey, Ennis, and Colleyville and others are for larger areas or sectors of a community like Schertz, McKinney, and Pearland. These projects not only integrate land use policies with transportation, open space, and infrastructure but also focus on implementation through infrastructure investment and regulatory strategies

Downtown, TODs, and Station Area Plans

Livable Plans and Codes has led and supported several planning initiatives focused on redevelopment of downtowns and implementing transit-oriented development in communities such as Owensboro, Roanoke, Hutto, McKinney, North Richland Hills, and Aubrey to name a few. Several of these projects establish a walkable, building and block level vision for redevelopment and implementing tools such as form-based codes.

Form-Based Codes

By definition, form-based codes developed and supported by Livable Plans and Code are focused on implementing master plans for walkable mixed use in downtowns, transit-oriented developments, and corridors including Camp Bowie Corridor, Downtown Bastrop, Downtown Rockport, Flower Mound, and Bedford Commons.

Special Projects

Livable Plans and Codes has supported special planning projects that include corridor plans, sign and zoning ordinances, and feasibility studies such as SH 5 Corridor Plan in McKinney, Texas, Employment Center Zoning in Kennedale, Texas, Sign Ordinance in Arlington, Texas, etc.
